CUSD Instruction and Technology Summit 2018 has ended

Welcome to the CUSD Instruction and Technology Summit 2018 Brochure.  Below you will find information for each session we are offering at the summit.  Hover over the title to view the session description, and find out if there are any required items that you will need to bring.

Make note of the session number in front of the title, ie: 101-Getting Googley.

336-TEXT RECONSTRUCTION: Text Reconstruction Promotes and Nurtures.... Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Creativity, and Communication for all Students!
Intended Grade Level:  TK-12
Target Audience:  Beginner
Device required: Chromebook
Text reconstruction is an approach where students utilize higher order thinking skills to collaboratively construct their initial understanding of complex text. This strategy supports all four domains (listening, speaking, reading, writing) and is best used with informational text.
